Cowgirl Up!
Judith Durr honored to participate in the 2012 & 2013 Cowgirl Up!
At the Desert Caballeros Western Museum the mythic West of the 19th century meets the 21st century West.
We display and interpret treasures that defy stereotypes about Western art and history and connect people to the West by triggering intellectual and emotional responses. Our definition of Western American art encompasses new styles, themes and subject matter, blurring boundaries, questioning traditional styles, and shaping perceptions of the landscapes and peoples of the West. Wind your way down the trail to Wickenburg to experience the Old West, the New West, and the Next West – a place of possibilities that holds the promise of renewal.
Cowgirl Up! Nationally recognized as the foremost prestigious exhibition and sale designed to showcase "the other half of the West" - work created soley by women artists who are capturing the spirit of the West and its lifestyle. 58 women artists have been specially invited to participate in the annual event. Held at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, Wickenburg, Arizona.
